SFS is the external infill: light gauge steel framed off the structural frame and down to the slab, then sheathed and wrapped in breather membrane so the building can be closed in.
Openings for windows and doors are formed to the setting-out the façade needs, which is why this package is run alongside the cladding and window trades rather than ahead of them.
